Unreal Tournament Clan Website Template - Template Design

I'd like to think that a lot of us still are kids at heart and play either online computer games or console games. Back in my early twenties, I was an avid UT2K4 (Unreal Tournament 2004) player. I was the guy who would sit up to all hours of the night playing while I fine tuned my skills. After a while I played for a clan called "Killohertz" who were an upper level team based on the West Coast. Set aside that the players were all very good and great team players, the guys on the team were great friends as well.

So after a few months of playing, I opted to design the new website for the team. I spent the weekend setting the base layout and skeleton of where I wanted to place certain elements content. After I had that all set up, I started working on the base patterns for the outlines and then started on the inner patterns for the detail. This template took a bit of time because I put a lot of attention to detail to stay closely in tune with the game theme and style of play. The game itself is a darker game with lots of maps being played in dark areas and using the night atmosphere, so that's why I kept with the dark colors.
